Helmet Paint Information

    We use a water-based paint formulated for use on plastics, metals, and other hard surfaces including automotive surfaces when painting our batting helmets.  Water-based paints will not harm the plastic of the helmets.  Paints that should never be used on plastics, especially batting helmets and other protective gear, are those that contain petroleum products which can deteriorate the plastic and make it unsafe for use.

The AirbrushStudio uses Createx water-based acrylic paints, which are formulated for use on plastic, fabric, and a variety of other surfaces, when painting batting helmets. Createx Airbrush paint meets ASTM D-4236 standards. Waterbased paint will not harm or compromise the ABS plastic of batting helmets. No paint, cleaners, or clear coat containing petroleum based ingredients are used in the process of airbrushing helmets. Petroleum based products can seriously compromise the plastic of batting helmets and users are strongly urged never to use paint pens or other paints that contain petroleum products. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause premature color fade. Users are encouraged to store their helmets in helmet bags when not in use. Players should use common sense and inspect their helmets for damage or deterioration before each use. Do not use any helmet if the shell is cracked or deformed or if interior is deteriorated or modified.

jao loool`s kot da se zdaj tak fejst spremeni lastnost čelade da bo ob manjsem trku pala na pol heh če se zaletis čelada itaq poči  pa mel sem eno 4x preštrihano pa jo zabijal v tla kolko sem mogel metal v zrak itd. a čez kakih 15metov je čelada komaj malo počila  tak da ne za pa to je bla neka starejsa čelada za zdaj pa ko je leto 2006 pa upam da in verjamem da delajo čelade iz vedno bolj trših materialov  tak da kar pridno štrihajte nič vam nebo škodlo ker ko se bos zaleto bo itaq prepozno
